HOW IT WORKS
Each week we bake our standard range of delicious sourdough breads and other artisan breads and bakes which change from week to week. To see the sort of things we bake click here
We bake to order on a once weekly basis. Deliveries on Friday late pm / early eve with orders needing to be placed and paid for online by Wednesdays at 6pm. If you live outside the AL5 area or spend less than £6.50, you can collect your order from either our West Common or Central Harpenden addresses after 5pm on Fridays

IMPORTANT DETAILS: We have a range of breads and cakes and other kitchen staples all handmade by us in our certified kitchens. There is a limited selection of each of our products and we do sell out so we suggest you order promptly. *We offer FREE delivery in the AL5 area for customers spending over £6.50. If you live outside this postcode or spend less than £6.50 you can collect from our central Harpenden or West Common addresses (paid for delivery may occasionally also be available - contact us to check). The weeks selection should appear on the website over the weekend for delivery the following Friday. To give us enough time to prepare your goods the cut off for ordering each week will be Wednesday 6pm.
PLEASE NOTE: We will USUALLY be baking on Friday with collection or delivery in the late pm/early evening. As we are a family bakery and work around our other commitments this will occasionally change and we will advise you of this on the website. Do contact us if you need bread or other goods on a particular day and we will try and accommodate your request.

DELIVERY OR COLLECTION NOTES: Orders will be delivered to the address you give on the order form unless we are advised otherwise. For orders that you wish to collect, order as usual and we will pack your order and have it ready for collection from 5.30pm on the Friday. Collection is from our West Common address in Harpenden at 1 Dellcroft Way AL5 2NQ or from Central Harpenden at 32 Sun Lane AL5 4HA. Let us know in the notes section at checkout which address you'll be coming to or send us a separate email to bakers@thekitchenfrontbakery.co.uk We ask you to provide your phone number in case baking is running late so we can let you know. We also ask you to collect your order promptly. We usually leave bread for collection bagged with your name and in a sealed box outside our houses as we are out delivering. If bread is not collected on the Friday we will contact you by email or text on Saturday morning to remind you but any bread not collected within 24 hours will be disposed of - we cannot store it for you and it has a limited shelf life. There are no refunds in these cases.
